Mexico's most iconic street food. Smoky, spiced pork with caramelised pineapple piled into warm tortillas. Simple ingredients, massive flavour.

Did you know?

Tacos al pastor were invented by Lebanese immigrants who came to Mexico in the early 1900s. They brought the technique of cooking meat on a vertical spit, the same way shawarma is made, then adapted it with local chillies and pineapple. Al pastor means "shepherd style", a nod to the Lebanese origin.
