A fragrant Brazilian prawn stew from Bahia, simmered in coconut milk with tomatoes and peppers. Rich, light and deeply flavourful all at once.

Did you know?

Moqueca dates back over 300 years to the indigenous peoples of Bahia who cooked fish in clay pots with palm oil, tomatoes and herbs. The name comes from the Tupi word "moquém", a rack used to smoke food over fire.
